This is

Essential Business Education

Poor cash flow management is the most common reason small businesses fail. Other contributing factors include mediocre budgeting, inadequate personnel management, and not understanding cost structure and financial statements. Small business owners and entrepreneurs need core business competencies. Many of these proficiencies can be acquired without the time and expense of degrees and certifications. It's about targeting the necessary skills.

My goal is to build the business knowledge and acumen of entrepreneurs and small business owners. By providing focused teaching in financial and managerial accounting, management, and strategy, small business owners increase their chance of durable success.

I've created a customized on-line course teaching fundamental financial and managerial accounting concepts. Delivered on a leading LMS (learning management system), participants can increase core competencies in a few short months. No gimmicks or 'get rich quick' themes here - this is carefully curated learning for business owners. No accounting experience or business degree required. All learning materials are included and yours to keep.

     What are your business challenges?

  • I'm a small business owner who doesn't understand how the numbers work.

  • There are so many training options but none meet my specific needs, which wastes time and resources

  • Getting a degree (or another degree) isn't a viable option. I want to learn the fundamentals necessary to operate and grow my business.

Challenge Accepted.

Introduction to Financial & Managerial Accounting for Managers

Two business enhancing courses for less than the cost of one class at many colleges:

Financial Accounting: Learning accounting and understanding accounting aren't the same.  Managers and business owners need the latter.  A strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, & strategy, and how transactions flow, turn reports into strategic information.  Acquire, refresh, or relearn essential financial management skills.

Managerial Accounting: ManagerData becomes information, which is then used to inform decisions.  Ask the wrong question or gather incomplete data, and the information is misleading. It's critical for managers to understand, analyze, measure, and leverage cost information.  It's key to deploying resources efficiently, and creating value across the enterprise.

Organization Management (launching Fall 2024)

What motivates employees?  What leadership style works best for your role and organization? How are strategy and structure connected?  How do corporate culture, communication, internal controls, and compliance help pull the pieces together? Learn how small businesses can lead authentically, and structure themselves for maximum success.
